American Legion
If you have been honorably discharged after at least on day of active military duty since December 7, 1941, or are currently serving honorably, you are eligible for American Legion Membership.

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY
If you are a spouse, sister, mother, grandmother, or a direct and adopted female descendant of members of all men and women who have served honorably in the US Armed Forces, you are eligible for membership in the American Legion Auxiliary.

SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION
Eligibility for membership requires being a male descendant, including a son, grandson, stepson, or adopted son, of one of the following:
- A member of the American Legion.
- A veteran who passed away during active service in WWI or after December 7, 1941.
- A veteran who passed away subsequent to an honorable discharge from such service.

AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS
Membership requires current affiliation with the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, or American Legion Auxiliary. According to Resolution No. 32, each ALR member must own a motorcycle, either individually or jointly through marriage, that is licensed and insured as per state law. Additionally, your motorcycle must have up-to-date registration and an inspection sticker, if mandated by your state.
